Whispering Confessions

Caro Pepe is an Argentinian artist and muralist based in Berlin. After several years working in advertising as an art director in both Buenos Aires and Madrid, she decided to devote herself to her art full-time — a decision that led her to Berlin in 2012. The move marked the beginning of her career as a full-time artist; since then, she has traveled the world painting murals and exhibiting her work across Europe, South America, the United States, and Asia.
Her body of work explores the inner world and the complex nature of emotion. Through her distinctive "one-eyed" women, she examines the concept of partiality — how what an individual chooses to see shapes their perception of reality. Her delicate characters carry a subtle symbolism and are often suspended in the absence of background or time, a choice that allows the depth of emotion behind each constructed reality to come forward.
